Neighbourhood management
COMMUNITY HUB STATUS(July 2011) St Luke's has recently been given the status of Community Hub by Islington Council. Community Hubs are large community centres and organisations that receive some funding from the Council which provide a range of local services and are the focus for community activity in the ward. More details about what this exciting opportunity means for St Luke's and our community will become available soon. Part of the responsibility is to take a share in the lead in the newly formed Finsbury Ward Partnership. We expect to expand the remit of this website to include the work and achievements of the Ward partnership. We are also continuing to host the Love EC1 website as an outcome of the EC1 Neighbourhood Steering Group, created as part of the EC1 New Deal for Communities long term succession strategy, which the Finsbury Ward Partnership superceded.
