Our community Cook and Eat classes run every Monday and Wednesday from 4 - 6 pm in the Cookery School. The classes show children and parents the basics of healthy home cooking and how to avoid food waste. Learn from an expert chef how to prepare and cook favourite family dishes with everyday ingredients that can be used at home. The group then sit down and enjoy the food together.

We rely on donations from local organisations for these community classes, so what we cook depends on what is available on the day, but it will be fresh and healthy.

Our Cook and Eat sessions are part of St Luke's commitment to promoting healthy eating and well-being in the local community, teaching people about home cooking with fresh ingredients on a limited budget. Our community classes are the reason why Central Street Cookery School was opened in 2012, with the money used from private hire put back into community cookery classes.
