Since the start of lockdown Fish Central Restaurant has been supporting its local customers who are isolating, including many of St Luke’s older members, with a free gift of fish & chips!

Every Friday evening Fish Central chef John Kennedy and the team prepare everybody’s favourite supper, and local residents Gary Tregent, Ray and Una O’Halloran volunteer to deliver the meals to the doorsteps of isolating and vulnerable residents.

Fish Central owner and social entrepreneur George Hussein says: “We have been a part of the EC1 community for over 50 years and know our older customers must be feeling worried and lonely during this long lockdown. Enjoying a fish & chips supper on a Friday night is a great tradition and we won’t let this pandemic break it!”

Fish Central staff team, John, Farouk and Flotek and volunteer, Gary, gearing up for Friday’s special delivery to our vulnerable community.
