By doing this we not only teach children how to cook and love food from an early age, we also teach parents cooking techniques and the art of using everyday ingredients to create delicious family meals that are also healthy and economical. Family after-school gardening Every Wednesday we meet in the Edible Yard at St Luke's (at the back of the Centre) from 4pm - 5pm to take part in family gardening. It is an after-school session with one of our expert gardeners, and if the weather is cold the group go into our heated greenhouse.
