Our corporate supporters contribute a huge amount to the day-to-day running of St Luke's Community Centre. From offering their expertise at our Job Club or PC Pals programmes or through pro bono support, to helping us paint and maintain a tidy Centre, these things all help in the provision of essential services and activities to our community.

We have had long-lasting partnerships with businesses ranging amongst others from architecture, law, marketing, insurance, accountancy and travel. We welcome the opportunity to work with companies across all industries as this diversity is of great benefit to our community.

Priority to get involved in our programmes is given to businesses, who partner with us through taking on one of our Corporate Partnerships.

Corporate volunteering

Our corporate volunteering programme enables staff at all levels to donate their time and skills during work hours to provide services to the community as part of an ongoing service. Our main focus for corporate volunteering is employability, social isolation, digital inclusion, families, legal advice and education.

Examples of support provided include: mentoring local pupils as part of an inter-schools debating project; one-to-one IT support in our PC Pals project; Job Club support, employment and interview seminars for residents looking for work; Christmas giving scheme where local employees and businesses buy presents for local residents.

The diversity of our projects and the fact we work with people of all ages means there is always an aspect of our work that will inspire your company and help you meet your corporate social responsibility objectives.

We very much appreciate our volunteers and their amazing contribution to our community.

However, in order to make the project sustainable we have a charging structure in place which varies from individually-paid team volunteering events to Annual Corporate Partnership Options (pdf link)
