Garden - Kids and Families Event Assistant

Main tasks and responsibilities

- Assisting workshop leader with particular tasks (related to gardening)

- Welcome new families.

- Communicating and promoting family and gardening activities at St Luke’s

- Managing the registration and evaluation forms at events.

Skills and experience required

- Excellent interpersonal skills.

- Experience with working with children.

- Interest in working with people in a community setting.

Location

St Luke’s Community Centre, 90 Central Street, EC1V 8AJ, London

Hours per week

To start: 1 ½ hours per week (Wednesdays 3.30pm-5pm during our After School Gardening Club)

Other ad-hoc times may also be available

Length of placement

3 months minimum
