St Luke’s Parochial Trust is looking for new Trustees from our neighbourhood to join our Board.  We are a modern charity making our area of south Islington a better place to live, work, learn and play.  We provide a very wide range of services, facilities, activities and events at all levels, and play an influential role in the policy and strategies that shape people’s lives in this area.

St Luke’s manages a large community centre building on Central Street, London EC1. This stunning public building is a major catalyst for improving and growing our community services and social enterprise strategies.

We have no preconceptions and are particularly interested in people who think they are not what we are looking for. Our Trustees must have some knowledge of our area in order to join our Board. This could be through living here, working here, or other ways which could demonstrate a knowledge of the issues that have an effect on people’s lives. We encourage applications from all ages and backgrounds.

With an annual turnover of over £2M, 40% of which is funded by the investment returns from our historic endowment, we are a strong and robust charity, with a capable executive management leading the staff team.

If you are interested in the role of St Luke’s Trustee, please contact Sarah Verrinder on [email protected] requesting a trustee recruitment brief.  If you would prefer to speak to someone in the first instance, please telephone 0207 549 8181 and ask to speak to the Chief Executive, Michael Ryan. Deadline for applications is: July 5th 2019
