FINANCE MANAGER  (£35,000 pro rata:  22.5 hours per week – hours negotiable)

Later this year, our Finance Manager will be retiring from the post after 9 years at St Luke’s.   As a result, we are recruiting to fill the post and to ensure the successful candidate has a comprehensive handover from the current manager.  

The post of Finance Manager is a critical role within the organisation and the post holder will be responsible for day-to-day financial management and will be involved in maintaining the financial procedures and systems, producing budgets and management accounts, and ensuring accurate and timely record keeping.

The post holder will liaise closely with St Luke’s financial consultant and will be working with the senior management team ensuring that the finances and payroll for the organisation continue to run smoothly. The post-holder will also manage a small finance team.  
In order to achieve this, we need a highly motivated individual with experience of working in a finance team, preferably in a charity, and who has strong organisation skills and good attention to detail. Flexibility with working hours/days can be negotiated, including some home working.
