St Luke’s Board of Trustees is delighted to announce the appointment of a new Chief Executive.

Abi Carter will join St Luke’s team on April 28th 2026. Abi has spent nearly four years as CEO of Share Community, a charity in South London which works with adults with learning disabilities and autism to live happier, healthier and more independent lives.

Previously, she spent over a decade working in sport, as Head of Strategy and then the Director of the charitable foundation of Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), the owner of Lord’s Cricket Ground. She also chaired Paddington Development Trust, which provides employability, training, health and cultural programmes to some of London’s most deprived communities from 2017-2022. She is about to become a trustee of Wheely Tots, a charitable social enterprise which delivers active travel and wellbeing activities in Tottenham.

St Luke’s is delighted to welcome Abi and looks forward to a new exciting period under her leadership.
