The eagle-eyed amongst you will know we have been recruiting for staff to join our Services team, following a review of all our existing roles and considering a wish-list of what we would like to provide at the Centre. It’s been over 20 years since the last review of staffing in this area, and our community has changed significantly in that time. We want our enhanced staff team to be able to engage service users of all ages in the classes and activities we offer at the Centre daily, and ensure we can bolster and expand our activities to meet current needs and demand. We love seeing familiar faces around the Centre and we want to encourage and welcome new members to come along and enjoy what’s on offer at the heart of their community.
Keren Wiltshire, our Director of Services, says: “For some time we’ve been looking at what we offer to service users and how this whole area can be enhanced and improved. We’d like more people to come to the Centre daily, and offer varied activities that members of all ages are keen to engage in using the fabulous facilities available to us. The reorganisation and increase in staff hours means we can do this, and we can meet the needs of our community better than ever.”
