Our Business Start-Up initiative, Firm Futures, in starting again in March 2026!

Key information:

• DEADLINE TO REGISTER INTEREST 23/02/26
• Register your interest by contacting the Firm Futures Team, who will send you a link to the registration form. You’ll receive details of the first workshop on 25 March only after completing the registration form.
• Eligibility: must live in Islington or one of the listed postcodes (EC2, EC3, EC4, E1W, E1, E2, N4, N5, N6, N7, N16, N19, NW1, WC1, and WC2); must be unemployed or not in meaningful employment, e.g. zero hours contract, part-time or temp contracts.
• Attendance: at least 75% of Level 1 workshops required to apply for Level 2

There are two levels to the programme:

• Level 1 (Mar–Oct 2026): Monthly workshops to help participants explore self‑employment and build confidence and business skills. At the end, participants can submit an application summarising their business idea for Level 2.
• Level 2: Support for 10 individuals to develop a full business plan and launch their business.
