St Luke’s Trust is looking for Trustees from our neighbourhood to join our Board. We are a south Islington charity with a large, welcoming community centre on Central Street EC1, where we run and develop our community services and social enterprise strategies to make our area a better place to live, work, learn and play. We provide a wide range of services, facilities, activities and events for all ages, and play an influential role in the plans and strategies that shape people’s lives in this area.

We are particularly interested in people who think they are not what we are looking for. Our Trustees must have some knowledge of our area, through living here, working here or by demonstrating a knowledge of the issues that affect people’s lives locally. We encourage applications from all ages and backgrounds.

We are a strong and robust charity, with a capable executive management leading the staff team. Our annual turnover is £2m, 40% of which comes from the investment returns of our historic endowment.

If you are interested in the role of St Luke’s Trustee, please contact Sarah Verrinder requesting a trustee recruitment brief. If you would prefer to speak to someone in the first instance, please telephone 020 7549 8181 and ask to speak to the Chief Executive, Michael Ryan.

Deadline for applications is 21st February 2022.
