Covid vaccinations at St Luke's from August

St Luke’s Community Centre pop-up vaccine clinic opens this week on 3 August. We will be running a vaccine pop up and an overseas desk for registrations of Covid-19 vaccines received abroad until 9 September. Vaccines are available for 12 years and over with Saturday having availability to vaccinate 5-11 years only.

The clinic will be in the Garden Room, 90 Central Street, London EC1V 8AJ

Sessions will vary each week but the times will remain the same for the days allocated – please check out: Covid vaccinations | Islington Council

Tuesday 9.30am – 5pm
Wednesday 9.30am – 5pm
Thursday 9.30am – 5pm
Friday 9.30am – 4.30pm
Saturday 11.30am – 2.30pm (special 5-11 years walk-in sessions)

5 – 11 years vaccinations will be available Saturday only
Overseas vaccination desk available for residents who have received Covid-19 vaccines abroad and need their vaccines added to their NHS record. Please bring your passport and proof of vaccination for the overseas desk.

What we do and who we help

We are a community hub in South Islington providing services, activities and events for local residents of all ages, including after school clubs, employment support and gardening for older people. Our large, modern community centre on Central Street is a great backdrop for our varied activities and we have several outdoor areas for visitors to enjoy. Our spaces are also available to hire for community groups or private functions.
Garden Room

With its own private entrance and exclusive use of a terrace garden, this spacious and flexible room offers the perfect setting for conferences, seminars, training events and parties. It is a blank canvas to create the right setting and configuration for your event, and benefits from neutral, stylish décor and lots of natural light.

Do you live in our area of benefit? You could become a member at St Luke's for a one-off charge of just £5. Our Centre offers services and activities every day for all ages, including art, exercise and gardening groups and a daily lunch club.
The Loft

The Loft occupies the whole third floor of the Community Centre, and has exclusive use of an entrance (ante) room, kitchen area and toilet, within this spacious and versatile area. It is bright and airy, and ideal for meetings, conferences, training, seminars or less formal events. Its exposed Victorian steel beams and skylight windows offer wonderful views over the roof tops of London.
Studio

The Studio is a bright and exciting space for any occasion. Truly unique, this spacious room with its high ceilings and distinctive red walls will provide a striking backdrop to your conference or party. It includes a wall of mirrors with a professional barre for dance classes.
About the Cookery School

Our stylish, contemporary Cookery School in central London opened in 2012 as a self-funding facility to enable St Luke’s to deliver free or low-cost cookery classes and projects to benefit our community, which are funded by the private hire of the School.
Families and Children

We offer a range of free or low cost activities and support for families living in south Islington. From free after school kids' clubs, giving children the opportunity to try different activities, to school holiday camps, there's something to suit every family. Find out what St Luke's has to offer.
Job Club

We offer those seeking employment in the local area help and support through our weekly Job Club, which is available through in-person sessions or online if required. People can boost their confidence and put themselves in a good position to gain a job they deserve. Booking is essential.
