Sleep Easy

Come what may,

Let me sleep.

Release the day,

Embrace the silence,

Close the curtains,

Rest my eyes.

Peace at last,

Peace of mind,

Peace is mine,

My soul is calm.

Pillows fluffed up

With easy dreams,

A delightful duvet

Calls me to its warm embrace,

And prepares my being

For the bright new dawn.

Whatever arises,

In the light

Of this new day,

I am ready.

Let it be.
