Evangelia Pournara is a Director and Senior Product Specialist in Emerging Market Debt at Allianz Global Investors, with over 20 years of experience in the City, a place close to her heart. Prior to joining AllianzGI, she held product specialist roles at PGIM Fixed Income, Aviva Investors, and PIMCO. Evangelia holds an MSc in Finance from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), City University, and a BSc in Economics from the University of Macedonia in Greece. She also holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.

Beyond her core role, Evangelia is actively involved in mentoring and contributes to initiatives promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the financial industry. She serves as a co-Ambassador for equality-focused networks and participates in programmes aimed at advancing opportunities and representation across the industry.

Born in Greece, Evangelia has spent over two decades in London, where she has built her career in the City. She is deeply grateful for the opportunities she has received and is committed to helping others access similar opportunities, regardless of their background. She strongly believes in the importance of community and in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
