Please see below about our new changes to our opening hours at St Luke’s Community Centre

From 1st January 2025, St Luke’s Community Centre will open Monday to Friday from 9 am until 7 pm each evening, offering our full range of activities and services to members. The Centre will no longer open to the public on Saturdays or Sundays, except for our regular special events.

The numbers attending the Centre at weekends has remained consistently low compared to week days. In reality it has stretched the team considerably, and we need to focus our staffing and resources on running an efficient service during the week, which will have a positive effect on these services and staff wellbeing. All weekend staff have been redeployed.

To minimise the impact we are aiming to move the popular weekend classes to weekdays where we can and we are planning to move the Community Meal to a Friday evening, once a month.

We have also put together a list of other services locally which operate at weekends – this is available from Reception.

We hope you understand this renewed focus and we look forward to seeing you in the Centre on weekdays in the new year.
