Celebrating 15 years of the incredible Whitecross Street Party, we organised a parade from St Luke’s Community Centre to Whitecross Street to celebrate community and inclusion! Led by our Multicultural Women’s Group, we proudly marched down Whitecross Street, tutus, sashes, and banners from the amazing artist Hells Gibson. The sun shone down as creativity and colour soared through the air! We saw brilliant acts on stage, a speech from the Mayor of Islington, and the new street art being displayed, with one art piece featuring our amazing Hardip from St Luke’s! We also had a stall, showing off all the brilliant events and activities to come at the Centre. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers helping at this event, it is always fun to celebrate community spirit at the Whitecross Street Party, we are counting the days till the next one already!
