The lady that works at the reception, I think her name is Grace/Denise? (Fair-skilled) (I am not entirely sure but working hours normally weekday, afternoon 12noon) She is an amazing person! Title: Five out of Five Stars – Proper community spirit, done well

I have visited St Luke’s Community Centre for workshops, meetings, and the café, and it consistently sets a high bar for what a local community space should be. The building is well laid out, welcoming, and clearly designed to be used properly rather than just looked at. The staff are warm, organised, and genuinely helpful, whether you are booking rooms, attending training, or just dropping in for lunch. Communication is clear and efficient, and on busier days everything still runs smoothly without feeling rushed.

The café deserves particular mention for its fresh, home-style food at very reasonable prices, and there is a relaxed atmosphere that encourages people to stay rather than rush off. It feels lived-in in the best way, with families, professionals, and locals all sharing the space comfortably. Brilliant experience in making music. Tara, Paul Griffin and the team were epic!
