This Is How It Is:

We spit and snarl

We disagree

We call out names

So carelessly

We always smile

We keep things fair

We achieve a lot

We love to share

We misunderstand

We shout and fight

We stamp our feet

We cause a fright

We all unite

Listen to views

Embrace all difference

It’s life we choose

We turn our backs

We push and shove

Tear ourselves apart

Don’t care for love

We always hug

We make things fine

We forgive all wrong

Whether yours or mine
