Support Network (May 2025)

We are family, we are friends,

companions to the very end,

a community of strangers,

a neighbourhood of belonging,

a roomful of professionals,

supporting and learning.

We are all in the same boat,

we are peers, all together,

volunteers, staying afloat,

always changing – whatever the weather.

We are sister, we are brother,

connecting with each other,

we are neighbours, we are blood,

ex-partners and others – all doing good.

We are students, we are carers,

we are givers, we are sharers,

we are in-laws, we are outlaws,

we are old, we are young.

We get strong from our mistakes

and teach children right from wrong.

We are champions of connection,

a worldwide web of integration,

a nation of affection –

the beating heart of celebration!

With family and friends your stress will be less,

your loneliness diminishes and friendship expressed,

cooking, sharing, laughing, simply feeling blessed.

Kindness, forgiveness and love are no test.

Fresh experiences refresh us the best.

Invest in our feelings, they’re a real treasure chest.

Let’s make mental wellbeing a welcome guest.
