Ray has always held a strong belief in having an active role within the local community.  He is a ‘local boy’, born and bred in Islington.  He is chairman of his estate’s  local Tenants’ and Residents’ Association (TRA), was a founding governor of the local school and he is involved in safeguarding and recruitment with them.
